12 characters left. Script fonts fit about half as much as block fonts — shorter reads better.
22 characters left. Line 2 engraves smaller — block fonts only.

Script — line 1 only

Previews show your Line 1 text. This is a guide to the lettering style, not an exact proof of the finished engraving.
SVG or PDF engraves cleanest. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works. Solid, high-contrast shapes hold up best — very fine lines can blur. Max 20 MB.

Your words, your art, cut into steel. We laser-engrave personalized text or your own artwork onto premium MakerFlo tumblers — made to order, one at a time.

How It Works

  • Pick your size, finish, and whether you want one side engraved or both
  • Type your text — up to 12 characters on line one, 22 on line two
  • Optionally attach your own artwork (SVG, PDF, PNG, or JPG)
  • We engrave and ship. Text-only orders go straight to the laser — no proof, no waiting

Lead Time

Every tumbler here is made to order — nothing sits on a shelf waiting. We carry a small working stock of blanks, and for most size-and-finish combinations we bring your blank in specifically for your order.

Please allow 2–3 weeks from order to ship. That covers sourcing the blank, engraving, finishing, and packing. Many orders go out sooner, and if yours will take longer than that for any reason, we'll email you.

Ordering for a birthday, wedding, or holiday? Reach out before you buy and we'll tell you honestly whether the date is workable.

Bulk & Wholesale

Larger orders are quoted separately — quantity changes the timeline, since a full run means bringing in blanks by the case. Get in touch with your quantity, size, and finish and we'll come back with a firm lead time and pricing.

About the Handle

The 20 oz Classic and the 20 oz Classic w/ Handle are the same cup. MakerFlo's MakerTwist handle simply twists on and off, so it's an add-on rather than a different tumbler. Choose the handled version and yours arrives with the handle fitted and color-matched; choose the plain version and you've still got a tumbler that can take a handle down the road.

The 20 oz Skinny, 30 oz, and 40 oz work the same way.

Finishes

Every tumbler starts as powder-coated stainless steel, and the laser reveals what's hiding underneath. That's why each finish is written as a pair — the color you see, and the color your design turns.

→ Silver — our thirteen powder-coated colors engrave down to bright stainless. Crisp, high-contrast, and timeless. Black → Silver is the one most people picture when they imagine an engraved tumbler.

→ Rainbow and → Gold — our electroplated blanks come in white or black with a plated layer tucked beneath the coating. The laser cuts through and your design comes up in shimmering rainbow or warm gold. These are our favorites for fantasy and fae designs, and they photograph beautifully.

Not every finish is offered in every size — the wine tumbler and coffee mug are powder-coated only, so you'll only ever see options we can actually make.

Engraving Limits

Line 1: up to 12 characters. Line 2: up to 22 characters, block fonts only — script loses legibility at that size.

Script fonts fit roughly half the characters of a block font at the same visual size, because the connecting strokes eat the width. If you pick a script, shorter is better.

Custom Artwork

Vector files (SVG, PDF) give the cleanest engraving. High-resolution PNG or JPG also works. Simple, high-contrast, solid-shape artwork engraves best — fine hairlines and thin outlines can fall below what the laser beam can resolve, and they'll blur or fill in.

If we spot a file that won't engrave cleanly, we'll email you before we run it. That's the only time you'll hear from us mid-order.

Please Read Before Ordering

All custom engraving orders are final sale and non-refundable. You must own or have the rights to any artwork you submit. We do not redraw, repair, or vet submitted artwork prior to engraving, and MacPack3D cannot be held responsible for the outcome of low-resolution or problematic customer-supplied files.
